TMT Film Festival is dedicated to presenting an array of relevant and engaging films addressing complex social issues and hardships effecting young people from wealth challenged communities. Our mission is to educate, inspire, engage and connect diverse people around common goals through the art of storytelling and filmmaking.
TMT Film Festival benefits the TMT Youth Community Foundation whose mission is to create a global social entrepreneurial educational network system that delivers economic opportunities to impoverished communities. Filmed and produced by TMT Mentees , this year’s film festival will highlight a collaborative effort - S.T.E.A.M School in the Capital which exposed students to a curriculum of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
Councilman Corey Branch will welcome the Young Leaders of America Initiative (YLAI) Professional Fellowship Program. President Obama launched YLAI to expand opportunities for emerging entrepreneurs and civil society activists. YLIA brought 250 business and social entrepreneurs from Latin America and the Caribbean to the United States in October 2017, to collaborate with their counterparts in businesses and civil society organizations in 24 cities across the United States. TooMuchTV Inc. was one of the eight business in Raleigh chosen to host fellow; Jeffsky Poincy from Haiti. The YLAI Fellows and several local businesses will be recognized during this mini film extravaganza! TooMuchTV Inc. may also have an opportunity to visit Haiti under the YLAI Exchange Program, to help young people in Haiti tell thier international story! This opportunity will involve working with the U.S EMBASSY!
The TMT Film Festival will engage a large audience on-site and on social media. This represents a branding promotion opportunity for all companies who share community values regarding diversity and inclusion, and involved in promoting global awareness for positive social change.
